PickupGate Hops / VICIdial carrier failover

A rejected call.
Another route.

PickupGate Hops is carrier failover for VICIdial. It is designed to give an eligible failed call another chance to connect through the next configured carrier, using a DID from the purchased batch assigned to that carrier.

$1 per DID per month / $2 early disposal

What PickupGate Hops is

Carrier failover built around VICIdial.

PickupGate Hops is a planned carrier-failover service for VICIdial and Vicibox operators. The customer's first call remains on the existing carrier and its normal bill. When a configured failure is eligible for a retry, Hops can route the next attempt through another carrier and use a DID from the purchased batch assigned to that carrier. A new number is not purchased for every retry. If one batch has no available numbers, the planned sequence can continue to the next configured hop. A connected retry is billed at the Hops minute rate, while DID rental and early disposal are separate charges. AMD classifications and Honeypot usage are also separate services. Hops begins in an off state so number purchase does not automatically enable routing. Customer activation is subject to release availability, setup review, and controlled testing.

Does each retry buy a new DID?
